I’m sure many of you have noticed that I don’t publish many new posts these days like I used to. I’ve been wanting to write more but I have been going through a major transformation in my faith walk with God and i didn’t want to start writing about it until I was certain of the direction that God was leading me.
Now I am sure and I am ready to start publishing regular again.
But I will not be writing about the same topics that you are used to reading from me. Although I love the field of personal development; the study of it has become pointless in my life.
What I mean by that is the study of personal development and self-improvement — becoming a better person — is all about learning new ways and strategies to improve yourself on your own. Notice I said on your own. Not with the help of God. Not with the help of the Holy Spirit. Not with the help of the Christ, the Messiah. But on your own.
And when you’re transforming your life on your own, without the help of God, you’re subliminally saying to God that you don’t need Him. “Yeah, I love you and yeah I want to live for you, but when it comes to bettering myself, I got this”. That’s what you are saying to God when you become consumed by personal development and self improvement.
You read all of these blogs, listen to all of these audios, read all of these books, and attend all of these seminars, striving to become the best person you can be so you can live the best life possible; which seems like a pretty normal goal to have… right? After all, who doesn’t want to live their best life?
But here is the problem: the sources that you are using to transform your life have nothing to do with God. So you end up becoming this great person and attaining these great achievements, but have no relationship with God.
That’s what happened to me. I became the best person I had ever been, but lost my relationship with God. I fell in love with personal development and out of love with God.
It took me a while to notice this but after a mentoring session I had one day with an old friend of mine, it was clear to me that I had placed personal development before God. She was going through a tough time in her life and needed some guidance, and I gave her all of these tips and principles for which she could use to better her life. She used the tips and strategies into action and starting changing her life. Initially I felt good to see that my advise had worked well for her, but when I asked her about her relationship with God; she told me that she was lost. But she also stated that it didn’t matter because her life was moving in the right direction.
This was a huge red flag for me!
Any direction that doesn’t lead to God is the wrong direction. So after that incident, I thought to myself “if I continue sharing with people how to become a better person but not teach them what the word of God is saying, especially in these end times that we are living in, then they will end up becoming better people for nothing”.
What good is it to become a better person, but have no relationship with God? If you don’t have a relationship with God, through Christ, The Messiah, then becoming a better person doesn’t matter because you’re going to miss out on having eternal life with the Father.
“For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” — Matthew 16:26
God convicted my heart about this and from then on, I stepped away from personal development and started back reading the bible like (in it’s original Hebrew context) like I had never done before. I also studied the history of Christianity, and how the traditions that we follow today mostly come from pagan traditions, not God. This was very shocking to me, but what was even more shocking to me was how no one who claimed to be a christian knew about any of the stuff I was telling them.
I’ve spoken to many people who have grown up in the church their entire lives and were supposedly followers of Christ for 20 plus years but had no idea of how God commands us to live according to the scriptures. Nor did they know of the origins behind the traditions of the church or why they do what they do? Then I started thinking to myself “If you are much older than me and have been in church much longer than me, but can’t tell me basic meanings of the scriptures that God commanded us to live by, then who are you following?”
And the more people that I spoke with, it became clearer and clearer to me that the church is mostly filled with people who don’t read the bible, but depend on their pastor to give them revelation of the word. This was a very sad revelation for me to have because it meant that most people who claim to be christians are just as lost as the people who are not. But as I continued to study the word, I discovered that it is all biblical prophesy.
So majority of my blogs and writings now will be more focused on exposing the lies of traditional ways of the church and the world, and sharing what the truth of the word of God is saying. I will not be teaching from the standpoint of I have all the answers; I will be simply sharing what I believe in my heart to be true, and ask you to research it for yourselves. This way, you are not dependent on my teachings to grow you spiritually. I want you to be solely dependent on Christ and the holy spirit to lead you into the truth of the word of God, not me. I am just the messenger, but Christ is the message.
My goal is to get people to read the bible in its rightful content, which means studying the old testament in Hebrew, and the new testament in Greek so that you can get the full understanding of what the word is really saying. By doing this you will see that the majority of what passes for Christianity today is nothing but paganism. The holidays we celebrate, the foods we eat, the acceptance of homosexuality and abortion, the way we treat our fellow neighbors, the different denominations and false doctrines of many churches, the disregard for the Sabbath, etc. all goes 100% against God’s commandments, yet most people who claim to be Christians take part in these ways of the world every single day.
There is a way that seems right to man, but it’s really the way that leads to death.” — Proverbs 16:25
But most people don’t know this because they’ve never been taught it. They been going to church they’re entire lives and have never heard how God wants us to live. The reason is because most preaching’s that come from pulpits these days are about making you feel good and motivating you to live your best life now, but have nothing to do with the actual word of God. You may get some scriptural teaching here or there, to help get the preacher’s point across, but you never get taught what the scriptures really mean. And since most people depend on their pastors for their biblical revelation and don’t read their bible for themselves, they are left lost and misguided on how God desires and commands us to live.
This explains the poor state of Christianity today, where you can’t tell the difference from a believer or a non-believer. Everyone is lost and living the same sinful lives, and we have the blind leading the blind down the path to destruction.
And I say it’s time to wake up.
Wake up from what you’ve been taught all your life in church buildings, and actually read the word for yourself.
Wake up from the patterns of this world and reprogram your mind with the authentic word of God.
Wake up from the traditions of men, and start seeking the truth.
Start asking questions like: Why are we here? Who were the 12 tribes of Israel? Was Jesus really white? What does the word “church” really mean in Hebrew? Who were the people that God prophesied to Abraham about that would be held captive for 400 years? What is the Sabbath? Do you really go to heaven when you die?
These are all questions that most christians don’t have the answers to, and without knowing these answers, you will be lost. But the good news is that all of these answers are in the bible. So if you make reading the word of God a priority, you will find them.
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” — Romans 12:2
Why do you think God said seek and you shall find?
Although He loves you to death, God is not going to beg you to love him back. He wants you to seek after Him with all of you, the same way you would seek after your wife or husband. Then He will know that you love Him, and He will guide you to the truth. But only those who seek after Him will find His truth.
And in these last days that we are living in, it’s essential that you have the truth, so that you will know how to decipher what’s false and what’s bible prophesy.
I myself, don’t have all of the answers, but I am constantly seeking and God is constantly revealing to me new truths along my journey. And my prayer is that you will join me and seek the truth for yourself.
But I know this isn’t for everybody. Not everybody wants to hear the truth. But this is the new direction I am going in with my blog. So if you’re not interested in hearing the truth and prefer to continue hearing feel good messages with no substance, then feel free to click the unsubscribe button at the bottom of my emails, and you will no longer receive blog updates from me.
But if you with me, then stay tuned… I got a whole lot of truth to share with you in the upcoming weeks.
